Cornus Kousa Nuttalli (ppaf) - Venus Kousa Dogwood Imagine being the first to plant a living treasure in your landscape. The 'Venus' kousa dogwood is a wonderful new Dogwood produced by the great plant breeder Dr. Elwin Orton, Jr. of Rutgers University. Cornus 'Venus' blooms with the foliage but in such profusion you forget about the leaves.
Flowers are very large, 6 inches or more on established trees. Cornus 'Venus' appears to be highly resistant to Dogwood anthracnose and mildew. A very exciting new Dogwood for the garden and landscape. Just a measured amount of buds from this beautiful specimen tree were allowed to be placed in production with a few of the top nurseries in the United States.
A Limited amount of the Venus Dogwood trees are being offered for sale, and were grown by the world acclaimed plant propagater Mr. Don Shadow, of Shadow Nurseries in Tennessee.
Limited amount of trees will be available. Don't be disappointed because when the amount we have alloted is sold there will not be any available anywhere until the following year. Ships: Bare Root
