Cornus stolinifera or red-osier dogwood, also called red-twig dogwood because of its distinctive, and attractive deep red branches. It is a beautiful upright shrub that displays white blossoms in May giving way to bright red berries in the fall. Very handsome and eye appealing in a winter setting especially with a sprinkling of snow to set off the stem color. NATIVE

An excellent plant for massing in large areas, and because of its interesting stem color it makes it suitable for shrub border use in residential landscapes; can be an effective bank cover for it holds soil quite well; beautiful when framed with snow.

Has moderate water requirements and has a moderate tolerance to salt and alkali soils. Great for mass groupings.

Shipped bareroot and priced in lots of 25, 50, 100+ seedlings.

Ships: Fall and spring
