For these states all plants will be taken out of containers, the soil shaken off of the roots, and then roots dipped in water retention gel, then wrapped with moist medium and packaged to insure fresh and live delivery. Sorry for any inconvenience.


NEW! Crape Myrtle ‘Catawba’ is one of the best purple flowering selections available. Displays large, long lasting clusters actually masses of dark purple crepe-like flowers in summer. Handsome foliage has bronzy cast in spring, bright green in summer, orange-red fall color. Mildew resistant. Moderate-growing to rounded dome 15 feet tall, 14 feet wide.

Follow a regular watering schedule during the first growing season to establish a deep, extensive root system. Feed with a general purpose fertilizer before new growth begins in spring. For a formal appearance, shear annually after flowering.

Plants thrive in full sun in a good heavy loam soil with a pH of 5-6.5.
