Hundreds of small tubular lavender blue flowers appear on spires in late summer through fall. The flowers make excellent cut or dried flower arrangements. 'Little Spire' is an improved dwarf selection that stays compact and does not flop over. An overall excellent perennial that is drought tolerant and virtually maintenance free. It has fragrant flowers and foliage, and can be used for borders, container, or mass plantings. Ideal for cut flower arrangements. It is drought and salt tolerant. General Information Long spikes of silvery-blue flowers accent its complimentary silver-gray spicy foliage. Flowers almost two months from the summer into the fall. Shrub size semi-woody plants for full sun. Russian Sage should not be cut back further than 12" after frost in the fall, leaving some stem buds for next year's growth. Drought tolerant.
