NEW! - Black Moudry Grass - Pennisetum alopecuroides - Grown for the clusters of flowers (plumes) that appear summer through fall. It differs then most of the species in that it displays wider leaves that give it its coarse appearance. The flowers emerge with a brown cast that mature into black.

The 2 to 3 foot tall clumps burst and mature with a display of blackish flowers that hold above the foliage from late summer through fall which are a delight and a rare touch when used for dried flower arrangements.

A warm season grass that thrices from planting zones 5 thru 9.

Ships in One Gallon containers. Price break on 3 or more plants.
