NEW! Weigela Ghost Weigela florida 'Carlton' ppaf, cbraf – When I saw this plant growing in our growers greenhouses I just had to have one for the garden. It is the most unusual foliage I have ever seen in a Weigela. It is a very cool Weigela with dark ruby red flowers in spring and remarkable foliage that magically starts green then turns to a ghostly, iridescent butter yellow as the summer progresses. Ghost provides seasons of color. It grows from 4 to 5 feet in full sun. We recommend shearing after initial bloom in spring. It is long blooming - Early Summer to frost with its heaviest bloom in spring then sporadically until frost. Use it for shrub borders, grouping, masses, specimen and containers. New varieties like this are sometimes hard to find, so we recommend ordering early if Weigela Ghost appeals to you as much as it did to us. Ships: in ONE-GALLON containers
